Dear beloved friends.
We hope that you have had a real nice summer holiday. This summer has been fantastic and with lots of sun.
During our stay in Denmark we really experienced some of this wonderful danish summer.
It made it a bit difficult for us to leave Denmark as we knew we would be going back to the african ”winter” which is quite cold.
We had 3 fantastic months in Denmark where we met many of you our dear friends. Thank you so much for your love and the way you greeted us with open arms.
Even though we have only been back for a short while, we feel we have the bigger view again with our work and building projects.
While we were in Denmark there has been made an extension of our kitchen and dining area at our school due to an increase in the number of students. Besides that we have finished two more classrooms for the kindergarden so God has really blessed the work.
During our stay in Denmark we collected money for the kitchen and dining area for the ”lovehome”. We were able to collect 102.000,-kr, all honor to Jesus.
The children are living in a squeezed area at the ”lovehome” as there are 18 children split in 2 little rooms each 3×3 meters. Some of the children are becoming teenagers and space wise it’s not very pleasant for the children that live with so little space. Due to this we would like to build 2 dorms one for girls and one for boys, on top of the kitchen and dining area. This would create more space and make it more livable and friendly for the children to live in the home.
The children will never find a better home than with Rosabella and John. They are the born parents even though they themselves do not have children, God has given them a lot of wonderful children.
If you would like to support this project economically with the building of dormitories on top of the kitchen and dining area then we are in need of more money. The whole project will cost us 170.000,- so we are in need of another 70.000,-kr. Thank you if you will be part of praying with us that the money may come, so the dear children can get better sleeping conditions.
We have often experienced the big miracle that ”many small streams makes a big river”.

The father disappeared and they have had no contact with him for several years. Ruth is a bright girl in school. Her school decided to sponsor her schooling because they are really poor. For various reasons the school recently shut down and Ruth had to find another school.
The mother cannot afford to send Ruth to another school. Ruth’s grandfather is a Maasai and he wants to have her back in Maasai land. He does not want a girl to get eductaed, but instead follow the Maasai traditions for girls: to be married. Maasais think that only boys should get educated.
Ruth’s mother told me that Ruth’s grandfather had received an offer from an elderly, wealthy Maasai who wanted to pay a very large dowry in the form of many cows in order to marry Ruth. Ruth had been desperate because she wanted to stay in school, get her education and choose her husband when the time was ripe. For this reason the mother and Ruth came to our office asking for help.
We trusted God and sent Ruth to a good, Christian school where she is thriving.
We received a sponsor who will support her until Form 4 is completed. But Ruth wishes to continue for another two years and graduate from High School. If any of you would like to support Ruth for a few more years please write us or send a gift to our missions account. Please earmark it “Ruth”.
