Dear friends,
Today is my birthday, but I am not writing because that is what we are to celebrate. . But I would very much like to celebrate that we have now passed the first 100 children we have helped to a dignified life. I think that is worth celebrating, don’t you?
I have attached the latest news, along with some lovely updates on some of the wonderful children who are in treatment right now. I love the work we are allowed to do among the many poor children — it is so life-giving. And now I am looking forward to landing in Tanzania again on 20 September and spending a month looking after the many projects we have under way. Thank you for praying for that trip. A group of 11 will come along, so it will be really exciting for them to experience “my Africa”.
The sun is shining so beautifully today — I must have been good this year ???? I thank God every time the sun shines and the weather is lovely! For me it is a gift, so today was a double good gift: sun, warmth and 100 children.
