We have just visited Pudde and the children, I think that this picture is so good, so I just wanted to send it on to you all.
Dorris is the little girl in the yellow top number 4 from the left, a big and pretty girl. She is the girl that was found in a plastic bag as a baby.
We had visitors with us and they had brought the long skipping rope, which brought great joy, even the big boys joined the girls in jumping the skip rope. We all had a great time seeing their joy, and how well they played together both young and old. The children were at home as they had a week’s holiday, like we get in Denmark in the fall.
Pudde told us that the other night there were some thieves that had tried to call over the wall into her property to break into the house. They climbed the wall and from there onto the roof of the house, so now the roof is full of dumps. Fortunately for them Pudde woke up as she heard the noise from the tin roof and she woke the children right away so that the thieves heard them and got afraid and quickly disappeared. It is so sad that they can not just live in peace but always they must sleep with one ear open as not to miss any sounds. Fear of attacks is very real in this world.
We ended the visit with a time of prayer and I wish you could have heard how Dorris prayed and thanked Jesus for all the help he gives the whole group, when she was praying she broke down in tears and the rest of us also cried. It was a very blessed moment.
During these past days we have had an electrician to install power into Puddes house and we hope that she can be connected to the main power line in 2013 so they will get real power.
Thank you for all your support and prayers, those we have already gotten and those that are still coming for these poor children and Pudde. May the Lord richly bless you.
With love
Tabitha.
