I have met a family that really need our help, so if anyone feel like helping this family let me know.
I have attached some pictures of the family. The husband is very sick with TB. Even though the husband is smiling in the picture, he is very ill. We saw the x-rays of his lungs and it did not look good. We are praying he will make it. When he coughs it sounds horrible, and there is blood in it.
He has been sick too long, before he got to see a Dr. It started around December. Their boy is in class 7 and was sent home from school, because they are unable to pay the small amount of money, that he needs for an exam coming up. They only have the one room, as you see on the picture. It is their bedroom, kitchen and living room. They have not been able to pay the rent since December, so now they are being evicted. Oh those poor people.
The wife gave birth 4 months ago. She does not have a job, as the husband has always been a good worker and provider. She is now washing clothes for people, to earn an income. The only season they survive is because they have such sweet neighbors, that gives them food. It is a Christian family and they have given their lives to the Lord. The wife had heard about us and had come for help. So we went to see where they lived. We have no doubts that this family is in need of help.p>
So in faith we have paid for 6 months rent and paid for the boys school fees, so he can get back into school and we gave them money for food for a month. We would like to help them for a year and then hope that the husband will recover, so that the family once again can take care of themselves.
I don´t know if anyone would be willing to help them?
They need 600kr pr month. If 12 people give 600kr then we have for a whole year.

The father disappeared and they have had no contact with him for several years. Ruth is a bright girl in school. Her school decided to sponsor her schooling because they are really poor. For various reasons the school recently shut down and Ruth had to find another school.
The mother cannot afford to send Ruth to another school. Ruth’s grandfather is a Maasai and he wants to have her back in Maasai land. He does not want a girl to get eductaed, but instead follow the Maasai traditions for girls: to be married. Maasais think that only boys should get educated.
Ruth’s mother told me that Ruth’s grandfather had received an offer from an elderly, wealthy Maasai who wanted to pay a very large dowry in the form of many cows in order to marry Ruth. Ruth had been desperate because she wanted to stay in school, get her education and choose her husband when the time was ripe. For this reason the mother and Ruth came to our office asking for help.
We trusted God and sent Ruth to a good, Christian school where she is thriving.
We received a sponsor who will support her until Form 4 is completed. But Ruth wishes to continue for another two years and graduate from High School. If any of you would like to support Ruth for a few more years please write us or send a gift to our missions account. Please earmark it “Ruth”.
